My oldest brother Terry is a motor-officer in the city of
Collegedale, Tennessee. This city is known for McKee foods a/k/a
Little Debbie snake cakes. I am talking about a city where the
main road through the city is Little Debbie Parkway. How good
can it possibly be, to be my brother. The police department pays
him to ride a new Harley every year, pay him to carry a gun, and
the city basically rotates around Little Debbie cakes.
Give me a break!

Just when you think it can't get
any better, get a load of this... Terry calls me last
year and the first thing he tells me is to do is sit
down.. he has some news. It seems as though "Big Paul"
Teutel is going to be in town to throw out the first
pitch at a Chattanooga Lookouts baseball game. He will
be needing a police escort from the airport to the ball
field and back again. Guess who gets the honor, you
guessed it, my brother Terry. I make him promise to get
his picture made with "Big Paul" and I want it
autographed so I can proudly display it at the gun shop. |

Sure enough, about two weeks later I get my autographed
picture in the mail. I put it up over my checkout
counter and proudly show all of my "regulars" that come
in , as well as, new customers that I am trying to
impress. To tell you the truth I am getting a lot of
"mileage" out of this photo. All is well until one day
this old dude looks at the picture and says "who is
Terry?" I am like, how does this old man know my
brothers name? |

For the first time, I finally take
a real "good" look at the picture. There is my answer in
living color. The inscription on the picture says it
all......"Best Wishes! Terry" Holy crap, my brother has
thrown me the curve ball of all time, he had autographed
the picture himself. The bad thing about it was, he so
totally "owned' me that I couldn't even be mad. I just
hate to think how many people had noticed the signature
and thought what a jackass I was. Well as the old saying
says, "Paybacks are hell"! He has one coming when he
least expects it. |
